Put the lens away as follows to securely stow it.

Solution


When putting the lens into its case, follow the procedure below.
Attach the hood in reverse, then attach the lens cap.
Position the tripod mount straight upwards and lay the lens into the case.
Secure the lens with the belt.
Press the lever while holding the lid from the top, and lock it.
