Description

You can change the size and position of the AF frame that appears on the monitoring screen while using one of the autofocus functions. The size and position of face detection frames and tracking frames will change automatically as the subject moves and its relative size changes within the frame.

Solution

C700 C700 FF Changing the AF Frame Size and Position​

  1. Open the [AF Frame Position] submenu.
    Setup screen: ALT  [AF]  [OPTIONS]  [AF Frame Position]
    Monitoring menu: EVF  [Camera Setup] ( [Focus]  [AF Frame Position]
  2. Select the desired option and then press SET.
  3. From the same submenu select [AF Frame Size].
  4. Select the desired option and then press SET.
Options for [AF Frame Position]
[Selectable]: You can move the AF frame using the joystick or SELECT dial on the optional viewfinder or by pressing ALT  [F.ASSIST.]  [ FRAME] and then pressing [], [​], [​], [​] on the camera. Press [CENTER] (setup screen) or press the BACK button on the optional viewfinder to return the AF frame to the center position.
[Center Frame]: A fixed AF frame appears at the center of the screen.

Options for [AF Frame Size]
[Large]: Standard AF frame size.
[Small]: Smaller AF frame size (about 1/3 the standard size).
