What is the proper way to clean my ColorTrac "L" series scanner?

Description

Follow the steps below to properly clean your L / Le / Lei ColorTrac scanner.

Solution

  1. Open the scanner.

     
  2. Spray 99% isopropyl alcohol onto a clean lint free cloth.

     
  3. Using the cloth, clean the following components:
    1. Top drive rollers
    2. Scan glass
    3. Hold up flap
    4. Bottom rollers (Rotate rollers by hand to clean the entire roller).
