You can check camera status by checking the status of the indicator diaply light. See the chart below for each of the incations.

Indicator Display

Indicator display varies depending on the camera status.
Color Indicator Status Camera Status
Green On
  • Recording stills to the memory card, or reading stills from the card.
Slow blinking
  • Display off
Blinking
  • Recording movies to the memory card, or reading movies from the card
  • Transmitting via Wi-Fi
Orange On
  • Charging via USB
Blinking
  • USB charging error
