Solution

Depending on the shooting mode and/or image format setting, the digital zoom range may not be available when the camera’s zoom lever is moved.
In this case please make the setting while referring to the procedures below.

The camera is set to a shooting mode in which setting the digital zoom is not possible

Change the shooting mode.
IMPORTANT
・It may not be possible to set the Digital Zoom depending on the shooting mode.
・For more information on the digital zoom setting procedure, refer to "Related information" section at the end of the page.

The Image Quality is set to RAW

When the image quality is set to RAW, the digital zoom cannot be set regardless of the shooting mode.
The procedure for changing the image quality setting is explained below.

1. Turn the camera on.

2. Press the button.

3. Press the / buttons, to choose [ Image quality ].
　

4. Press the button.

5. Press the / buttons to choose [ - ], then press button.
　

6. After changing the image quality setting, set the camera to a shooting mode in which digital zoom is available.
