Solution

Follow the steps below to connect your printer to your Mac® computer via the Easy Wireless Connect method.

Before you begin

  • To print wirelessly on a Mac computer, the printer must first be connected to the Wireless Network and software drivers and applications installed on the computer.

  • If your device is connected to the internet via a wireless router, then you connect it to a printer in Wireless Direct mode, the current connection between the device and wireless router will be disabled.

  • Based on the device settings, it may switch to a mobile data connection automatically.

  • Mobile data connection charges may apply.

  • Wireless connection restrictions.
     

Start  Easy Wireless Connect

  1. Tap the Link icon on the printer's touch screen.

  3. When the following screen is displayed, complete the setup on your computer.

Download and install the setup file

  1. Get the Setup File. Click the Download button on this page. If prompted to open or save the file, save it to your computer, then open it after it has been saved. Double-click the Install Setup icon icon to launch the installer program.

  1. Select Next.

  2. Enter the network password and choose Install Helper.

  5. Select Yes on the License Agreement screen.

  6. The Extended Survey Program screen appears. You can select Agree or Do not agree. Your choice has no effect on the printer's functionality.

  1. Select Yes on the Connection Method screen.

  2. Select Allow on the keychain message.

  4. Select Add Printer.

  5. Select your printer series with Bonjour Multifunction listed in the Kind column and choose Add.

  8. If you wish to download and install any additional software,  select Continue online.
