Description

Limitations due to lens used while shooting in RAW Burst Mode (EOS M6 Mark II)

Solution

When using a variable aperture zoom lens in RAW burst mode, zooming while half pressing or full pressing the shutter will cause changes to the aperture. Thereby in order to keep a fixed exposure, it is recommended to shoot in auto ISO.
When using a fixed aperture zoom lens in RAW burst mode, zooming while half pressing or full pressing the shutter can also cause changes to the exposure.

Lens to exhibit the limitations are as follows:
EF16-35mm F2.8L USM
EF16-35mm F2.8L II USM
EF17-40mm F4L USM
EF24-70mm F2.8L USM
EF24-105mm F4L IS USM
EF-S17-55mm F2.8 IS USM

There are possibilities that sudden movement to zoom may cause exposure changes when using other zoom lenses not listed above.
