This article provides some information on the Canon Creative Park app for iOS devices.

Solution

The Canon Creative Park app will allow you to print decorations, cards, and other paper crafts.  You can also edit the items that you want to print and save them for future printing.

  1. After downloading and installing Creative Park, you will see an Extended Survey message.  Read the information displayed and tap Agree or Do not agree.  You will be able to continue regardless of which option you select.

  2. You will then see some information regarding the app and what you can do.  You can swipe through the information and tap Start, or you can tap the X at the upper right corner of the information shown.

  3. You will then be prompted to sign in with your Canon ID if you want to edit or print any items shown in the app.  Tap Sign in or Sign in later.  If you tap Sign in later, remember that you will not be able to edit or print any items shown in this app.  For more information on a Canon ID, tap More information.  You can also view the privacy policy by tapping Check the Canon ID Privacy Policy.

    If you do not have a Canon ID, click here to create one.  You can also create a Canon ID by tapping Sign in and then tapping Create a Canon ID account in the app.  Follow any on-screen instructions to create your account.

  4. After you have signed in with your Canon ID, you will see a message indicating that the Canon ID authentication was successful.  Tap OK.

  5. On the main screen of Creative Park, tap the menu  icon, then tap Add Printer under Settings.

  6. Tap Add Printer to search for available printers.

    You may be asked to allow the app to access your location.  Tap Allow While Using AppAllow Once, or Don't Allow.  If you tap Don't Allow, your network name (SSID) will not be shown but printing will still be possible.

  7. Tap on the name of your printer to select it.

  8. The app will acquire your printer's information.

    You will be able to change the name of your printer if desired.  If you would like to change the name of your printer, tap its displayed name.  If you do not want to rename the printer, tap OK on this message.

    If you want to rename the printer, do so and tap OK.

    Your printer will then show in the list of available printers.  Tap the back arrow to go back to the main screen.

  9. When you have returned to the main screen, you can browse through any of the displayed categories to find an item that you would like to print.  You can choose if you want to search through the top categories, featured categories, all categories, or new items that are available.

    When you find something that you want to print, tap it.

  10. You will see some information regarding the item you tapped.  To proceed, tap Edit at the lower right.

  11. Specify your paper size. Then, tap OK. If you do not want to print the item in question, tap Cancel.

    The item in question will be downloaded to your iOS device.

  12. You will see a preview of the item selected.

    Here, you can adjust the magnification slider to zoom in and out on the item.  You can also add text or images to the item by tapping on the Text or Images options.

    If you tap Images, you may be asked to allow Creative Park to access your photos.  Tap Allow or the appropriate affirmative response to view your photos.

    You can then select any of your photos to add to the item in question that you want to print.

    The photo you selected will appear on top of the item you want to print.

    You can rotate and resize the image as desired. You can also crop the image, send the image to the back or bring it to the front. You can also change the image to another one if desired.

  13. You can save any changes you have made in case you wish to print another copy of the item in question with the changes that you made. Tap Save if you wish to do this. When you are ready to print, tap Print.

  14. On the Print Settings screen, you will see the item that you are about to print, complete with any images or text that you added. You will also see the name of your printer, as well as the size of paper and the number of sheets needed.

    Tap Change Settings to change the number of copies you would like to print, as well as the type of media you wish to print on.

    Tap the Back arrow at the upper left corner to return to the Print Settings screen.

    When you are ready to print, tap Print. The item you specified, along with any changes / adjustments you made, will be printed.
