Description

Using your control panel, it is possible to adjust the frequency in which nozzle checks are performed on your printer.

Solution

CAUTION: Changing the frequency in which nozzle checks are performed on your printer can adversely affect your print outputs. Disabling nozzle checks will, over time, also affect the integrity of your print head.

To set the frequency for your printer to conduct nozzle checks:
  1. Press [Device settings].

  2. Press [Auto maintenance settings].

  3. Press [Auto nozzle check]
    The following options are available:

    • Standard - printer will perform nozzle checks based on specific printer conditions
    • 1 page - printer will force checking nozzles after each page of print
    • 10 pages - printer will force checking nozzles after every 10 pages of print
    • Disable - No auto nozzle check will be performed
