Cause

When performing an automatic intensity adjustment copy with smartphone or tablet, an original document is loaded in the ADF (Auto Document Feeder). The ADF does not support automatic intensity adjustment.

What to Do

Select a copy method besides automatic intensity adjustment in copy intensity setting or move the original to the platen glass, and then try again.
