Performing an ink flush will consume a great amount of ink.

Frequently performing an ink flush can rapidly consume ink, so only do this when necessary.

 Important

• Before performing an ink flush, check the remaining ink level of all colors. If the remaining ink level is below the single dot (a), refill the ink tank of corresponding color.

  
  

Perform an ink flush following the procedure below.
 

1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
    

2. Press Setup button.

   The Setup menu screen appears.
    

3. Select Maintenance and press the OK button.
    

4. Select Ink Flush and press the OK button.
    

5. Select All colors, Color or BK and press the OK button.
    

6. Check the displayed message and press the OK button.
    

7. Check the displayed message, select Yes and then press the OK button.
    

8. Check the displayed message, select Yes and then press the OK button.

   Ink flush starts.

 Note

• Do not perform any operations while ink flush is in progress. It takes approximately eight minutes to complete.
