Description

As the installed rollers in the scanner wear out, scanned images may become stretched in the vertical direction. If this happens, you can reduce the amount of stretching by adjusting the reduction ratio.

Solution

  1.  Click the Start button, and then click [Canon R40] and [Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool].
    imageFORMULA Driver Settings Tool starts.

  2. Click the [Maintenance] tab and then move the slider to change the value of [Reduction ratio adjustment].
The adjustment value can be set within the range from -3.0% to 3.0%.

  3. Click [Apply].

  4. Click [Close] to close the imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool.
