Cause

Machine cannot detect paper size.

 

What to Do

Press the machine's Stop button and try to print again.

If this error still occurs even after printing again, set the machine not to detect the paper width by using the operation panel, the printer driver, or Remote UI.

 Depending on the type of paper, the machine may not detect the paper width.

 If the paper output cover is opened while printing is in progress, the machine may not detect the paper width.


To toggle the paper width detection function of the printer from the operation panel:

  1. With the printer powered on, press and hold the Stop button until the Alarm lamp flashes 15 times, then release the button.

  2. Press the Black button to disable paper width detection. Press the Color button to enable paper width detection.
