Learn how to specify the size and type of paper loaded in the PIXMA TS5320.

Solution

Before printing or copying with the PIXMA TS5320, you'll need to specify the size and type of paper you're printing on to ensure the best possible results. There are a couple of ways to do this.

  1. Specify the paper settings after loading paper into the printer.

  2. Manually specify the paper settings in Feed settings.

Specify the paper settings after loading paper into the printer

After you have loaded paper into the printer, you'll be prompted to confirm the size and type of paper that you've loaded. For example, after loading paper into the rear tray, you'll see a screen that looks similar to the following:

Rear tray paper settings example: Letter size, plain paper

If the size and paper type displayed on the screen match what you have loaded into the printer, press the OK button.
If the size and / or the media type displayed is incorrect, press the down arrow Down arrow to select Change and press the OK button.
Use the up Up arrow and down Down arrow arrows to select the paper size loaded into the printer and press the OK button.

Next, use the up Up arrow and down Down arrow arrows to select the paper type loaded into the printer and press the OK button.

You'll then see a confirmation screen that shows the size and type of paper loaded into the rear tray.

Press the OK button.
