Description

If your Mac® has macOS 10.14 or later installed, the Easy Wireless Connect method is not available for your computer. Alternative methods for setting up your printer are available.

Solution

If your Mac has macOS® 10.14 or later installed, the driver and software package for this printer is not supported on your computer. You won't be able to use the Easy Wireless Connect method to connect the printer to your wireless network. You'll need to use a different method to connect the printer to your network:

After connecting the printer to your wireless network via one of the methods listed above, download the following drivers and software from the Canon USA website:

  • CUPS Printer Driver

  • ICA Driver (for scanning)

  • IJ Scan Utility

  • My Image Garden

After installing the drivers and software, add the printer to your computer's printer list:

  1. Select the Apple menu, select System Preferences, and select Printers & Scanners on your Mac.

  2. Select + to display the printer list.

  3. Select the printer's name listed as Bonjour Multifunction.

  4. Select Canon TS6000 Series from Use.

  5. Select Add.

Your printer is now ready for use on your wireless network from your Mac.
