Description

Learn how to print a nozzle check pattern for your PIXMA TR150 on a Mac computer.

Solution

The nozzle check function allows you to check the print head status with a nozzle check pattern print out. Perform this function if you experience poor print quality like incorrect colors, and streaked or banded prints. Please follow the steps below.

Print the nozzle check pattern

  1. Select Utilities from the Remote UI.

  2. Select Nozzle Check.

  3. The confirmation message appears.

  4. Make sure the printer is powered on.

  5. Open the printer's top cover.

  6. Review the items below. Then, if necessary, print a nozzle check.

  • Verify there is ink in the tanks.

  • Make sure the ink tanks are pushed in completely until you hear a click sound.

  • Verify all the orange tape are peeled off completely. Any tape that remain will hinder ink output.

  • Make sure the ink tanks are installed in their correct positions.

  1. Load one sheet of A4 size or Letter size plain paper into the rear tray.

  2. Select Yes. The nozzle check pattern print begins.

  3. When the dialog window opens, check the print result.

  • If the print result is normal, select All A.

  • If the print result is smudged or if there are any unprinted sections, select Also B to clean the print head.
