Follow the steps below to print from your Mac® computer.
Before you begin

Make sure your Mac has latest OS X version.

The printer is compatible with the macOS standard print system or AirPrint .

The Mac and the printer must be connected by one of the methods below:

You can print right away after the printer is connected to your Mac without any special software installed.
Print from a Mac

Make sure that the printer is powered on.
If Auto power on is enabled, printer automatically turns itself on when a print job is received.

Load paper into the printer.

Register the set paper size and paper type on the printer operation panel.

Open the Print dialog from the application you want to print from, usually done by when you select File, then Print.

Select your printer model from the Printer list in the Print dialog window.
Select Show Details to switch the setup window to the detailed display.

Set the options like Paper Size and Media Type from the Media & Quality pop-up menu.
An error may occur if the paper size set in the print dialog is different from the paper size set on the printer. Make sure the settings match before you print

The specified settings are applied when you select Print.
Print on envelopes

Load the envelope vertically with the address side face up so that the folded flap of the envelope will face down on the right side.

The print data is rotated by 180 degrees against the print result image.

Good to know

It can take the Wi-Fi® connection a few minutes to get re-established when you turn on the printer. Make sure the printer is connected to the network before you print..

You won't be able print if the printer's Bonjour settings are disabled. Review the printer's LAN settings and enable Bonjour settings.

The application you use will affect the options available in the settings screen.
