Description

Learn about paper settings that can be adjusted on the PIXMA TR150's LCD screen

Solution

Review the information below to learn about paper settings.

Default settings for the misprint message

To prevent misprints, register the paper size loaded in the rear tray in the printer's settings first. This will allow the printer to display a message if the loaded paper size does not match the print settings in the computer.

The default display setting is different when you print from a mobile device, Windows® computer, or macOS®.

If the misprint message is disabled, you will still get a printout even if the printer settings from the computer and the paper information registered to the printer are different. Based on the size of the paper, this may cause poor print results.

Paper settings

  1. Load the paper in the rear tray.

  3. If the page size on the LCD matches the size of the paper loaded in the rear tray, select OK.

  4. If not, select Change to change the setting to match the size of the loaded paper.

Computer print settings are different from the paper information registered to the printer

For example: A4 paper is registered to the printer and A5 paper is set up in the computer.

  3. When the select the operation screen is displayed, select one of the operations below. Please note, the options may be different based on printer settings.

  • Print on set paper.

    • Select if you want to print on the paper loaded without changes to the paper settings.

    • For example: When the computer print setting is A5 and the paper information registered to the printer is A4, the printer will print right away without a warning to change the settings.

  • Replace paper

  • Cancel print

    • Select when you change the paper settings specified. Change the paper settings and print again.
