Connect the Printer to a Network via WPS Push Button - TR150

Learn how to use the WPS Push Button method to connect the PIXMA TR150 to a wireless network.


Your PIXMA TR150 can connect to a wireless network using the WPS Push Button method. If your router has a WPS button on it, you can use this to connect the printer to your wireless network without installing any software on a computer or using a mobile device. Follow the steps below to connect the printer to your router using this method.
  1. Make sure the printer is powered on.

    If the power is on, the ON lamp (A) will be lit.

     If printer is performing cleaning, print head alignment, or other processes, wait for the process to finish, before starting setup.

  2. If the screen shown below appears, press the Stop button (B).

    If the following screen is not displayed, proceed to the next step.

  1. Use the Up or Down button (C) to select Setup (D), and then press the OK button.

  2. Select LAN settings and press the OK button.

  3. Select Wi-Fi and press the OK button.

  4. Select Wi-Fi setup and press the OK button.

  5. Select WPS (Push button method) and press the OK button.

  6. Press the OK button.

    Press OK on the printer

  7. Press and hold the WPS button on the wireless router.

  8. Press the OK button on the printer within 2 minutes.

  9. When the screen below appears, press the OK button.

  10. Press the Back button (E) until the following HOME screen appears.

The network connection setup is now complete.
Once connection is complete, Network appears at the upper left of the screen.

After the printer has been connected to your wireless network, you'll need to download and install the drivers and / or software if using a computer.
