Learn how to use the WPS PIN code method to connect the PIXMA TR150 to a wireless network.

Solution

The WPS PIN Code method will allow you to connect the printer to your wireless network without the use of any software on a computer or mobile device. Please follow the steps below.


Before you begin

  • This method will require you to access the internal settings of your wireless router to enter a PIN code for the printer to establish a wireless connection. Please review the router's instruction manual if you have any questions.

  • If printer is the middle of a process, like cleaning or print head alignment, wait for the process to finish before you begin the setup.
     

WPS PIN Code method

  1. Make sure the printer is powered on. The ON lamp (A) will be lit.

  1. If the screen shown below appears, press the Stop button (B). If not displayed, proceed to the next step.

  1. Use the up or down arrown buttons UpDown (C) to select the Settings icon Setup (D), and then press the OK button.

  2. Select LAN settings and press the OK button.

  3. Select Wi-Fi and press the OK button.

  4. Select Wi-Fi setup and press the OK button.

  5. Select Other connection types and press the OK button.

  6. Select WPS (PIN code method) and press the OK button.

  7. Access the router's internal settings to enter the PIN code shown on the printer's screen. Enter the PIN code shown within 10 minutes.

  8. When the screen below appears, press the OK button.

  9. Press the Back button (E) until the following Home screen appears.

  1. The network connection setup is now complete. The Wi-Fi® icon Network appears at the upper left of the screen.
