Description

Learn how to connect the PIXMA TR150 to a wireless network via the Manual Connect method.

Solution

Your PIXMA TR150 can connect to a wireless network directly with the use of the network password via the printer's operation panel. Please follow the steps below.

Manual Connect method

 If printer is the middle of a process, like cleaning or print head alignment, wait for the process to finish before you begin the setup.

  1. Make sure the printer is powered on. The ON lamp (A) will be lit.

  2. If the screen shown below appears, press the Stop button (B). If not, proceed to the next step.

  1. Use the up or down arrow buttons UpDown (C) to select the Settings icon Setup (D), and then press the OK button.

  2. Select LAN settings and press the OK button.

  3. Select Wi-Fi and press the OK button.

  4. Select Wi-Fi setup and press the OK button.

  5. Select Manual connect and press the OK button.

  6. Select your wireless router and press the OK button. The wireless router name appears.

  7. Press the OK button.

Enter the password. appears on the LCD. Press the OK button

 If Connected to the wireless router. appears, the network does not require a password. Continue from step 12.

  1. Enter the password. Text entry is case-sensitive. If you don't know the password for your wireless router, review the instruction manual or contact its manufacturer.

  1. After you enter the network password, select OK on the keyboard, and then press the OK button.

  2. When the screen below appears, press the OK button.

  3. Press the Back button (E) until the Home screen appears.

  1. The network connection setup is now complete. The Wi-Fi® icon Network appears at the upper left of the screen.

  2. After the printer has been connected to your wireless network, you'll need to download and install the drivers or software.
