You can enter text when a keyboard is shown in printer's operation panel. Follow the procedure below.

Text entry

1. Use the up, down, left, and right arrow buttons (A) to select the character you want to enter, and then press the Ok button .

2. Text entry window functions.

• Letters to symbols switcher icon .

  • Switches between lower case letters and numbers and symbols.

• Up arrow icon .

  • Switches between upper and lower case letters.

  • Switches symbol types.

• Space icon .

  • Inserts a space.

• Delete icon .

  • Deletes the character at the cursor.

  • Select the character entry window at the top of the screen (B) with the up or down arrow buttons , and then move the cursor to the target character with the left or right arrow buttons .

3. Repeat step 1 until text entry is complete.
    

Insert characters

1. Select the character entry window at the top of the screen (B) with the up or down arrow buttons .

2. Move the cursor to the character on the right of the target position using the left or right arrow buttons .

3. Enter the characters.
