Review the information below to learn about the components inside the printer.

Main components inside view

  • Ink lamps (A).

    • Lights or flashes to indicate the ink tank status.

      • Light does not flash.

        • The ink tank is correctly installed.

      • Flashes slowly (at around 3-second intervals).

        • The ink level is low. Prepare a new ink tank.

      • Flashes fast (at around 1-second intervals).

      • Light is off.

        • The ink tank is not installed properly or the ink level detection function is disabled.

  • Print Head Holder (B).

    • Install the print head here.

  • Print Head Lock Lever (C).

    • Locks the print head into place.

 

Good to know

  • Do not pull up the print head lock lever after you install the print head.

  • If you pull up the print head lock lever after the print head is installed, push both tabs in left to right order until each clicks into place.

Press down on the left print head lock lever tab

Press down on the right print head lock lever tab
