Description

Learn how to remove paper jammed inside the PIXMA TR150.

Solution

If the jammed paper tears and you can't remove it from the paper output slot or the rear tray, or it remains inside the printer, watch the how-to video or follow the written instructions below on how to remove the paper jam.

Before you begin

Remove a paper jam

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it. If a battery is used, turn off the printer, then detach the battery.

  2. Open the print head cover.

  3. Check if jammed paper is under the print head holder.

  4. If jammed paper is under the print head holder, press either the right side or the left side of the print head holder with your fingertips.

  5. Slide it slowly to the right edge or the left edge, whichever makes it easier to remove the paper.

When you move the print head holder, do not touch the print head lock lever.

  3. If the paper tears when you pull out it, a bit of paper may remain in the printer.

  • Is there any paper left under the print head holder?

  • Is there any paper left in the left and right empty spaces (A) in the printer?

Check for any remaining paper in the empty spaces of the printer (shown in inset)

  1. Gently close the print head cover.

  2. All jobs in the print queue are canceled. You will need to print again.

Good to know

  • When you reload the paper, make sure you use suitable paper and is correctly loaded.

  • If a paper jam message appears on the printer's LCD or on your computer screen when you resume the print jobs after all the jammed paper are removed, there may still be small bits of paper left inside the printer.
