Learn how to update the PIXMA TR150's firmware from its operation panel.

Solution

Please follow the steps below to update the firmware the operation panel.

Update the firmware from the operation panel.

  1. Make sure the printer is powered on. 

  2. Select the Setup icon Setup icon on the Home screen, and press the OK button.

  3. Select Device settings, and press the OK button.

  4. Select Firmware update, and press the OK button.

  5. Select Install update, and press the OK button.

  6. Check the displayed message, and press the OK button.

  7. Check the displayed message, select Yes, and then press the OK button.

  8. Check the displayed message, and press the OK button.

  9. The firmware update starts.

  10. The printer will power off and on again after the updated is finished.

  11. Check the displayed message and press the OK button.
