Enablle or Disable the TX Report - TR4520 / TR4522

Description

Learn how to enable or disable the transmission (TX) report on the PIXMA TR4520 / TR4522.

Solution

You can adjust he PIXMA TR4520 / TR4522 TX Report settings to specify when you want that report to print (after sending every fax, after a fax fails to send, or not to print at all). Follow the steps below to enable or disable this report.

  1. With the printer powered on, press the Setup Setup button (pliers and screwdriver) button.

  2. Press the right arrow Right arrow until Fax settings appears, then press the OK button.

  3. Press the right arrow Right arrow until Auto print settings appears, then press the OK button.

  4. Press the right arrow Right arrow until TX report appears, then press the OK button.

  5. Press the left Left arrow or right Right arrow arrows to select one of the following options:

    • Print for each TX
      A TX report will print after every sent fax regardless of whether the transmission was successful or not.

    • Print error only
      A TX report will only print if the fax failed to send.

    • Do not print
      A TX report will not print after a fax is sent regardless of whether or not the transmission was successful.

       If you select Print for each TX or Print error only, you'll see an option for Attach TX image. If you select Yes, then a portion of the first page of the fax will be printed on the report. Selecting No will not print a portion of the first page. Press the left Left arrow or right Right arrow arrows to select Yes or No, then press the OK button.

  6. Press the Fax  button to return to the Fax standby screen.
