EOS Webcam Utility is a piece of software that allows you to use an EOS (and some PowerShot) camera as a webcam. This will allow you to use it with your choice of streaming or conferencing software that accepts a video feed from a standard USB webcam.
Solution
To install EOS Webcam Utility, please follow these steps:
Download the software from the Drivers & Downloads section of a compatible model's support page.
Double click on the .msi installer package to begin the installation.
Click "Next":
Read and accept the License Agreement by clicking "I Agree" and then "Next":
Confirm that you wish to install EOS Webcam Utility by clicking "Next":
Once the install completes, please click "Close":
Reboot the computer.
NOTE: Closing the EOS Webcam Utility window will not exit the utility entirely. The application will continue to run in the background. To exit the utility entirely and prevent it from running in the background, please right-click the utility on the task bar and choose to close the utility. If necessary, you may wish to confirm that the EOS Webcam Utility is not running in the Windows Task Manager.
