Easy Wireless Connect Setup (Windows) - TR150

Learn how to configure your PIXMA TR150 to connect to your wireless network by using the Easy Wireless Connect function

Wireless Setup - Windows** Computers

To be able to use the printer to print or scan wirelessly on a Windows computer, the printer must first be connected to the wireless network and drivers must be installed on the computer.  The instructions /  screenshots  below show the setup program steps  when using the "Easy Wireless Connect" method to connect to the wireless network.

The setup process consists of 2 parts: 

  1. Starting Easy Wireless Connect on the printer, and

  2. Downloading and running the setup file to install the drivers and software.

Start Easy Wireless Connect on the printer.

Prior to starting setup on the computer, start Easy Wireless Connect on the printer.  Then complete the setup on the computer. 

  1. Press and hold the Wireless Connect button button on the printer's operation panel.

  2. When the following screen is displayed, complete the setup on your computer.

Download and run the setup file

The setup file can be downloaded from here. If you are asked to run or save the file, save it to your computer.
  1. Run the setup file and select Start Setup.

    Click Start Setup (outlined in red) to begin the setup process

  2. Read the network security notice and select Next.

    Click Next (outlined in red) to proceed

    The installer will acquire information on the latest drivers and software for the printer. This may take a few minutes.

  3. Read the license agreement. Select Yes to continue.  If you select No, the installation will not continue.

    Click Yes (outlined in red) to continue with the setup process. If you click No, the installation will not continue

  4. Select Agree or Do Not Agree to the information request.

    Click Do not agree or Agree (both outlined in red) to proceed)

    This message appears if you selected Do not agree. Select OK to proceed.

    Click OK (outlined in red) to proceed

    Thr installer will process for a few moments.

  5. Select Yes to confirm the connection method.

    Click Yes (outlined in red) to proceed

    The wireless network information will be sent to the printer.

    The network connection will be temporarily disabled. This may take a few minutes

  6. Connection is completed, select Next.

    The connection is completed. Click Next (outlined in red) to proceed

  7. The driver will be downloaded and installed on to the computer. This may take several minutes.

    The driver download and installation may take a few minutes. Please wait

    After the installation has finished, select Next.

    Click Next (outlined in red) to proceed

  8. If you wish to download and install any additional software,  select Continue online.

    Click Continue online (outlined in red) to finish the setup program
