EOS Webcam Utility is a piece of software that allows you to use an EOS (and some PowerShot) camera as a webcam. This will allow you to use it with your choice of streaming or conferencing software that accepts a video feed from a standard USB webcam.

Solution

To install EOS Webcam Utility, please follow these steps:
  1. Download the software from the Drivers & Downloads section of a compatible model's support page.
     
  2. Run “EOS Webcam Utility Beta.pkg” and follow the instructions that appear to install EOS Webcam.

     
  3. After installation completes, restart macOS.
