Solution

You can manually connect your PIXMA G4210 to your wireless network by using the operation panel to choose your network and enter your wireless network password (also called a network passphrase). Follow the steps below to connect the printer to your wireless network.

  1. With the printer powered on, press the Setup Setup button (pliers and screwdriver) button on the operation panel.

  2. Use the arrow buttons Left arrow Right arrow to select Wireless LAN setup and press the OK button.

  3. Use the arrow buttons Left arrow Right arrow to select Manual connect and press the OK button.

  4. After the printer searches for nearby wireless networks, use the arrow buttons Left arrow Right arrow to select your wireless network, then press the OK button twice.

If there are multiple routers / extenders for your network, you'll be prompted to use one router only, or use multiple routers. If you choose to use a single router, you will be asked to select the MAC address of your wireless router. Select the MAC address of the router to connect to, then press the OK button to proceed., If you want the printer to use multiple routers on your network, specify that option with the arrow buttons Left arrow Right arrow and press the OK button.

  5. Enter your wireless network password, then press the OK button.

  6. The printer will attempt to connect to the wireless network. When Connected Press [OK] appears, press the OK button.

The printer is now connected to your wireless network.

If you have not already done so, you will need to install the software for your printer on your computer.
