You can perform printer maintenance and change its settings from the Remote UI.
To open the Remote UI, follow the steps below.

Open System Preferences, and select Printers & Scanners.

Select your model from the printer list, and click Options & Supplies....

Click Show Printer Webpage... in the General tab.
The Remote UI opens.
When the printer is being used via USB, Show Printer Webpage... will not display.
A password may have to be entered after the Remote UI opens. If you receive a prompt asking for a password, enter it and click OK. In case you do not know the password, click Passwords and cookies.
