Paper Feeds from Wrong Feed Source (Windows)

Description

There is a setting you can adjust if your printer tries to feed paper from the wrong feed source when using a Windows PC.

Solution

If your printer attempts to feed paper from the wrong feed source when using a Windows PC, follow these steps to prevent this from occuring.

  1. Save and close the document or image you were trying to print.

  2. Open the printer driver setup window.

  3. In the Page Setup tab, select Print Options....

    Select Print Options (outlined in red) in the Page Setup tab

  4. Place a check in the box for Disable the paper source setting of the application software.

    Select OK, then select OK in the printer driver setup window.

  5. Open the document or image you want to print.

  6. Print the document or image.
