Description

This article contains important information you need to know if your IVY CLIQ does not charge.

Solution

For healthy battery maintenance, we recommend that you fully charge your IVY CLIQ's battery once a year before leaving it unused. If the battery has a low charge (20% or lower) for longer than three (3) months, you may not be able to recharge it.

Check the Status LED Indicator’s color and status to confirm whether the battery level is low or not.

If you're experiencing problems with charging the battery for your IVY CLIQ, please refer to the following information.

  1. Make sure that you're using an AC adapter that is rated to supply 5V/1A or higher. Also, make sure that you're using the USB cable that came with your IVY CLIQ. If you don't have that cable, use a compatible cable that supports 1A current or more.

  2. Check that the connection between the USB cable and adapter is secure while charging. If charging does not begin, detach the USB cable from the USB source before reattaching.

  3. In normal conditions, the charging LED will stay RED during charging and change to GREEN after approximately 90-110 minutes.
