If the following message appears on the touch screen:

Gently close the printer's operation panel.

If the operation panel is closed and the message still appears, turn off the printer and unplug its power cord. Open the operation panel and check for any foreign objects inside the printer. If you see any foreign objects, remove them. Then, plug in the power cord and turn the printer on.

If the message continues to appear and there was no visible debris found, the printer will require servicing.
