Error Indicator Is Lit Solid or Blinking
If an error occurs, the Error indicator lights solid or blinks. Check the following.
Is paper loaded correctly?
Has a paper jam occurred?
Check whether a paper jam has occurred. If a paper jam occurs, a message is displayed on the screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the jammed paper.
Is any message displayed on the screen?
If a problem occurs, a message is displayed on the screen. Make sure of the countermeasures suggested in the message.
Restart the machine.
Turn OFF the machine, wait for at least 10 seconds, and turn it back ON.
NOTE
When the problem is solved, the Error indicator turns off and the display returns to the Basic Features screen. If the error cannot be solved, contact your local authorized Canon dealer or the Canon help line.
