To open the Remote UI to perform maintenance on your printer, follow these steps.

Open System Preferences, and select Printers & Scanners.

Select your model from the printer list, and click Options & Supplies....

Click Show Printer Webpage... in the General tab.
Remote UI starts.
When the printer is being used via a USB connection, Show Printer Webpage... will not display.
The password may have to be entered after Remote UI starts. In such a case, enter the password and click OK. In case you do not know the password, click Passwords and cookies.
