Solution

Copying Two Pages onto Single Page

You can copy two original pages or a two sided page onto a single sheet of paper by reducing each image.

Example of two pages copied on to a single page

  1. Make sure that the printer is powered on.

  2. Load paper.

  3. Press the COPY COPY button button.

    The Copy standby screen is displayed.

  4. Press the MENU MENU button button.

    The Copy menu screen is displayed.

  5. Select Special copy, then press the OK button.

  6. Select 2-on-1 copy, then press the OK button.

    If a page size setting or a media type setting that cannot be used in 2-on-1 copying is selected, the screen like shown below is displayed.

    1. Select a page size, then press the OK button.

    2. Select a media type, then press the OK button.

  7. Load the original item on the scanner glass.

  8. Use the LEFT RIGHT buttons to specify the number of copies.

    Change the print settings as necessary.

  9. Press the Black Black button button or the Color Color button button.

    When the printer finishes scanning the first page, the message below is displayed.

    If you have the next page to scan, load it on the scanner glass and press the OK button. The printer starts scanning.

    If you don't need to scan another page, press the Color Color button button or the Black Black button button to start printing. The printer starts printing.

     You can add a copying job while printing (known as Reserve copy).

 If Memory is full appears on the LCD when scanning, set the print quality to Standard or reduce the number of sheets of documents, then try copying again. If the problem isn't resolved, set the print quality to Economy and try copying again.
