Description

Learn how to specify the feed source used for printing with the PIXMA G7020 on a Mac.

Solution

In this printer, there are two paper sources, a rear tray and a cassette.

The procedure for setting paper source is as follows:

  1. With a document or photo open that you want to print, open the Print dialog (typically done by select Print... from the File menu).

  2. Select Media & Quality in the pop-up menu.

  3. Select which source you want to use from the Feed from pop-up menu.

Select the paper source in Feed from in the pop-up menu

    Automatically Select

Based on the paper information registered on the printer, the printer automatically determines the paper source and feeds paper.

    Rear Tray

Paper is always fed from the rear tray.

    Main Tray

Paper is always fed from the cassette.

Plain paper that is not Letter 8.5"x11" 22x28cm, A5, A4, or B5 and paper types other than plain paper cannot be fed from the cassette.

  4. Click Print.

When you print, the printer uses the specified paper source to print the data.
