Paying for Support - PIXMA / MAXIFY / CanoScan

This article explains how to access phone support for your product by processing a payment through your Canon Account.


If your product is out of warranty and you need telephone support, you will be required to pay $19.99. Your product must be registered in your Canon Account in order to access this option. Follow the steps below to process the payment.

  1. Go to the Canon Account page and sign in.

  2. Under My Products, click on the registered product requiring support.

    Click the product requiring support

  3. Click Product Support.

    Click Product Support (outlined in red)

  4. Under How to Reach Us, read the information under Pay for Support. Then, click Continue.

    Click Continue (outlined in red)

  5. Enter your payment information in the window that appears, then click Submit.

    Click Submit (outlined in red) after entering your payment information

  6. Follow any remaining on-screen instructions, then call the phone number for support.
