DFR (Double Feed Retry) Button isn't working on my imageFORMULA scanner.

Description

The DFR button may not always be operational in cases where the scanner has correctly detected that a double-feed has occurred. 

Solution

In order for the DFR button to work properly, 2 things must be enabled first:
  1. Detect by Ultrasonic (located in the “Feeding Tab” of the driver
    Make sure you enable "Detect by Ultrasonic".
     
  2. Rapid Recovery System (located in the “Others Tab” of the driver
    Make sure you enable "Rapid Recovery".
     
That's it! The next time your scanner detects a double feed, the DFR light will flash allowing you to clear the error and refeed the original document again.
