Description

Learn how to enter letters, numbers, and symbols when performing a manual wireless connection on the imagePROGRAF PRO-300.

Solution

You can enter text when a keyboard is shown on the printer. Follow the procedure below.

  1. Use the Up Down Left Right buttons (A) to select the character you want to enter, and then press the OK button.

    Switch between "lower case letters of the alphabet" and "numbers and symbols"

    Switches between "lower case letters" and "numbers and symbols."

    Switch between upper and lower case letters, or switch symbol types

    Switches between upper and lower case letters while letters of the alphabet appear. Switches symbol types while numbers and symbols appear.

    Insert a space

    Inserts a space.

    Delete the character at the cursor

    Deletes the character at the cursor. Use Left or Right to move the cursor to the target character.

  2. Repeat step 1 until text entry is complete.

 To insert characters, move the cursor to the character on the right of the target position using Left or Right, and then enter characters.
