Set up the PIXMA TS3320 for use via USB - Windows

Description

This article will show you how to install the drivers for the PIXMA TS3320 on a Windows PC so that it can be used with a USB cable.

Solution

To set up your PIXMA TS3320 for use via USB with a Windows PC, please follow the steps below.

  1. Click here.

  2. Click Download.

    Click Download

  3. Save the file to your computer, then open it. If prompted to provide permission, click Allow or the appropriate affirmative option.

  4. Click Start Setup.

  5. Click Next.

    The installer will acquire information on the latest software.  This may take a few minutes.

  6. Read through the License Agreement.  Click Yes to proceed.  If you click No, the installation will not proceed.

  7. Canon requests that information related to your printer (model, usage information, etc.) be provided in order to develop and market future products.  Click Agree or Do not agree.

    If you click Do not agree, you will see an additional message.  Click OK to proceed..

    The installer will proceed.

    Processing

    The installer will then check the printer's status.

  8. On the Select Connection Method screen, select USB Connection (USB Cable) and click Next.

    The MP Drivers will be installed. This may take several minutes.

  9. When the Printer Connection screen appears, connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.

    The printer will be detected.

  10. When this screen appears, click Next.

    You are now able to print

     If you have multiple printers installed on your computer and you want this one to be the default printer, leave a check in the box for Set as default printer. Remove this check if you don't want this printer as the default printer.

    The installer will process for a few moments.

  11. The installation is finished.  Click Exit.

    Click Exit (outlined in red)

     Place a check in the box for Restart the system now (recommended) to restart your computer after exiting the installation. If you don't want to restart, remove the check from the box before clicking Exit.

    This will open the Canon website where you can download additional software for your printer.
