Description

This article provides information on error codes that can appear on the LCD of the PIXMA TS3520.

Solution

Error on the LCD

If an error occurs in printing, for example, if the paper runs out or jams, a troubleshooting message appears on the computer screen. For some errors, a support code (error number) is also displayed.

On the printer's LCD, an error code is displayed.
 

When a Support Code and a Message are displayed on the Computer Screen (Windows):

Take the appropriate action described in the message.

When an Error Code is displayed on the Printer's LCD:

The error code appears on the printer's LCD one by one.

If the error code is "E03":

E, 0, 3 on LCD

Check the error code on the printer's LCD and take the corresponding action described below.

If you're performing setup with WPS:

  1. Check the security settings and perform setup again.

  2. Perform setup using another setup method.

Cannot find a wireless router during setup.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Perform Wi-Fi setup again.

Cannot connect because multiple wireless routers are connecting to the printer.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Perform Wi-Fi setup again after a while (about 2 minutes).

If the above doesn't resolve the problem, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the wireless router.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Turn off the wireless router and turn it back on, and then perform setup again.

If the above doesn't resolve the problem, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the wireless router and check the settings.

Cannot connect to a wireless router.

Cannot change the LAN (Local Area Network) settings.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Check the following.

  • if the printer's Wi-Fi is enabled

  • if you select a proper wireless router to connect

  • if the password you entered is correct

  • if the specified network name (SSID) is correct

After checking the above, turn off the wireless router and turn it on again.

You cannot change the LAN settings while you're using a LAN connection. Change them when you're not using a LAN connection.

An error occurred while communicating via Wi-Fi or while in standby.

Cannot connect to network.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Check the LAN connection and network settings.

Connection may be successful after a while.

Cannot connect to Internet.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Check the wireless router settings.

Cannot connect to server.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error and perform operations again after a while.

Cannot connect to server.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error and perform operations again after a while.

Failed in connecting to Internet because network connection is being prepared.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error and perform operations again after a while.

Failed in acquiring contents.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error and perform operations again after a while.

Cannot connect to server.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error and perform operations again after a while.

Only information registered to the printer is deleted because of failing to connect IJ Cloud Printing Center.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Delete registered information of IJ Cloud Printing Center from your computer or smartphone.

The printer is already registered to IJ Cloud Printing Center.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Delete registered information of IJ Cloud Printing Center and register the printer again.

The online service isn't available in your region.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Contact the provider for where the online service is available.

Scanning print head alignment sheet failed.

Trying to start copying before you register the paper size.

Register the paper size and start copying.

Press the printer's Stop button to cancel copying.

Paper size settings at printer driver do not match the paper size registered in the printer.

Scanning original has failed.

Unexpected error occurred while scanning is in progress.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

Change settings and perform operations again.

Reached the upper limit of pages which can be saved.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error.

No more pages can be saved in one file.

Save the rest as different one.

E64

Scanning original has failed.

Original isn't placed on the platen or the original cannot be scanned.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error and check the following.

  • Make sure the original is placed on the platen.

  • Make sure the original is set in the correct position and orientation.

After checking the above, perform operations again.

E65

Saving scanned data failed because the printer's memory is full.

Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error. And then, take measures below.

  • Reduce the resolution and rescan the original.

  • Reduce the amount of original to be scanned at a time.

The printer is unable to communicate normally to recognize the status of the ink cartridge.

Turn off the printer and unplug it.

Plug in the printer again and turn it back on.

If this doesn't solve the problem, the printer requires servicing.

There are two options currently available to you.

  1. Warranty Service – If you are within the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty and have your proof of purchase you are entitled to service or replacement. If you have purchased a CarePak Canon extended warranty, you may be entitled to additional options.  Please create or log into your Canon Account to obtain service.
