Description

Setup the Wireless Connection using a WPS-compatible wireless router

Solution

WPS Connection

Follow the procedure below to set up the network connection using Wi-fi Protected Setup (WPS)

  1. Make sure the WPS button on the wireless router is ready to be pressed.

  2. Press and hold the Wireless select button (A) on the printer, and then release the button when Network status icon (B) flashes.

  3. Press and hold the WPS button on the wireless router within 2 minutes.

  4. When connection to the wireless router is complete, Network status icon and Signal Strength icon (C) will be lit.

    If the Alarm lamp lights up, see "Troubleshooting."

    The network connection setup is now complete.

    If performing setup with software, return to the software and proceed with the installation.

    Click Setup icon in the taskbar, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with setup.
