Description

You can register commonly used copy, fax, or scan settings on the operation panel of the MAXIFY GX6020.

Solution

Registering Favorite Settings (My Presets)

You can register the favorite copying, scanning, or faxing settings and call them up from the HOME screen.

You can register up to 20 settings.


 

Registering the Setting

Select Save profile on each standby screen or on the screen displayed after the settings are specified.

When the confirmation screen of Save profile is displayed, select Yes.

When the screen to enter the name of the setting is displayed, enter the name and select Register.


 

Calling Up the Registered Setting

Follow the procedure below to call up the registered setting.

  1. Make sure that the printer is powered on.

  2. Select My Presets on the HOME screen.

  3. Select setting you want to call up.


 

Editing / Deleting the Registered setting

Follow the procedure below to edit or delete the registered setting.

  1. Make sure that the printer is powered on.

  2. Select My Presets on the HOME screen.

  3. Select Edit / delete.

    You can change the order or name of the registered settings and delete the settings.

    • To change the order of the registered settings

      1. Select Rearrange.

      2. Select the setting you want to move.

      3. Tap Up arrow or Down arrow to move the selected setting.

      4. Select Apply.

      5. Select Exit.

    • To change the name of the registered settings

      1. Select Rename.

      2. Select setting you want to rename.

      3. Enter the new name and tap OK.

      4. Select Exit.

    • To delete the registered settings

      1. Select Delete.

      2. Select the setting you want to delete.

      3. Select Yes on the displayed screen.

      4. Select Exit.
