Windows Font is missing from PosterArtist (or is corrupted when printing)

Article ID: ART179828 | Date published: 05/26/2021 | Date last updated: 05/26/2021

Description

It is possible that the missing font was installed in Windows for the individual user (and not for all users). In this case, the font is actually installed into the User's font folder and not the default Windows font folder (a folder that PosterArtist is not currently capable of reading). While this will be addressed in a future release of PosterArtist, to remedy this now, follow the steps listed below.

Solution

  1. Delete the font that experiences the phenomenon.

  2. Right-click on the applicable font file, and select [Install for all users].

  3. After it is installed, open the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.

  4. Right-click on the applicable font, and select [Properties]. In [Location], confirm that C:\Windows\Fonts is indicated."
