You must be logged into the computer with an administrator account for this to correctly alter the MF Scan Utility settings.
1. Open MF Scan Utility.
2. From the home screen, click on the ScanGear button.

3. Click on the Advanced tab.
4. Select "Feeder (2-sided)" in the "Original Input Method" drop down.
5. Click on Scan.
Once this process has been complete you should be able to select "Scan both sides when scanning from the feeder" directly in the MF Scan Utility.
