Clean the Paper Feed Roller from the Remote UI
If paper isn't properly feeding into your printer, you can use the Remote UI to clean the paper feed roller. This is especially useful when using the printer from an iOS device, an Android device, or a Chromebook.
Before Starting
This article assumes that your printer has already been connected to a wireless network. If the printer is not on your wireless network, it will need to be connected to your network. If your wireless router has a WPS Push button on it, you can use this button to connect the printer to the network. If your router doesn't have a WPS Push button, you can use the Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY app for iOS or Android to configure the printer to connect to the router.
If you're using the printer from a Chromebook, you'll need to print a Network Configuration Page (also known as a LAN details page) to access the printer's Remote UI from a web browser. After printing this page, enter the printer's IP address into a web browser, then proceed to step 4 below.

In Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY, tap the printer.
