How to Disable IPv6 - TR7020

Description

If your PIXMA TR7020 is connected to your wireless network but does not have an IPv4 address, disabling IPv6 may help resolve this problem.

Solution

To disable IPv6 on your PIXMA TR7020, please follow the steps below. 

  1. With the printer powered on, press the OK button.

  2. Use the up or down arrows until LAN settings is selected.  Then, press the OK button.

  3. Wi-Fi will be selected.  Press the OK button.

  4. Use the up or down arrows until Advanced is selected.  Then, press the OK button.

  5. Use the up or down arrows until TCP/IP settings is selected.  Then, press the OK button.

  6. Use the up or down arrows until IPv6 is selected.  Then, press the OK button.

  7. Yes will be selected.  Press the OK button.

  8. Enable/disable IPv6 will be selected.  Press the OK button.

  9. Use the up or down arrows until Disable is selected.  Then, press the OK button.

IPv6 will be disabled.

To enable IPv6, follow the steps above, but select Enable and press the OK button.
