How to Disable IPv6 - GX6020 / GX7020

Description

If your MAXIFY GX6020 / GX7020 is connected to your network but does not have an IPv4 address, disabling IPv6 may help resolve this problem.

Solution

To disable IPv6 on your MAXIFY GX6020 / GX7020, please follow the steps below. 

 Although the steps below will show Wi-Fi, disabling IPv6 will also affect Wireless Direct and Wired LAN.

  1. From the HOME screen, tap the network icon.

    Tap the network icon (outlined in red)

  2. Tap Wi-Fi.

  3. Tap Advanced.

  4. Tap TCP/IP settings.

  5. Tap IPv6.

    Tap IPv6 (outlined in red)

  6. Tap Yes.

    Tap Yes (outlined in red)

  7. Tap Enable/disable IPv6.

    Tap Enable/disable IPv6 (outlined in red)

  8. Enable is selected by default (outlined in blue). Tap Disable.

IPv6 will be disabled.

To enable IPv6, follow the steps above, but select Enable and press the OK button.
